A bullet train is a very effective method of mass transportation. They can reach speeds of 186 mph. Companies pay employees with tickets to get to work. They are known to be clean, fast, and always on time. Governor Brown is in the process of making a bullet train for California based off the Japanese model. However, some of the reasons it is not practical in the state of California it is because the cost involved in making it, and connecting it to a whole network of bullet trains. The reason Bullet trains work in Japan is because of the smallness of its area, and because it serves a bigger population that is centered in urban areas, while in California in comparison the land mass is huge and the population sparsely spread out all over and not centered into urban cities. Besides the bullet trains people frequent use the subway system too. However it is very intriguing to see a bullet train speed by pastoral paddy fields in Japan.
