Automobiles and Industry
There are almost 100 car manufactures in Tokyo like Toyota and Yamaha. Automobiles create a lot of air pollution. They create carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides and release them into the air. It increases the chances of heat island effect and green house effect. This basically means that Tokyo will be full of smog and would be super hot. People will have a better chance of getting a heat stroke and passing out too. Creating more automobiles using gas isn’t eco friendly. In fact, the harmful chemicals being released from the automobiles are what other people will breathe. These chemicals will cause people to cough, have an irritated nose, and their throat will hurt. The worst part is that these pollutants released from automobiles and factories will cause asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, many other lung diseases, and even death. Factories also do pollute the air but not as much as automobiles though. One difference is that on the tops of the factories, there are smoke scrubbers or cleaners. They filter out most of the harmful chemicals. Tokyo is a huge producer of items like phones, computers, and cameras.
